Fort Jennings Elementary
Christmas Cards for Soldiers
The fifth grade art students learned about the art of printmaking and compassion in the process. Students created Christmas art prints that were then turned into cards for military members overseas. This is possible through the non-profit organization, Soldiers’ Angels. Each card included a hand written letter from a student. Some students thanked military members for their service while other students included they would think of them and their families on Christmas day. We have such thoughtful fifth graders!
